Well, in calling tech support to get support linking my two lap tops I was told that they do not have tech support for that issue and suggested that I contact an IT department from within my company. I was told that more than one person could be using desktop at the same time and the data would transfer over from one lap top from the other in a shared file.

I finally switched back to Quickbooks desktop pro plus 2023 and bought a multi user license. I could not do payroll, pay an invoice or anything else. After eight days of frustration the only thing in Quickbooks online that I could do was enter a daily receipt manually. I had to call support multiple times and wait for call backs. The data did not transfer over correctly. I signed up for Quickbooks online from Desktop and encountered nothing but problems and wasted time. No tech support to link lap tops for multiuser mode of Quickbooks. Intuit should reissue Desktop Premier and apologize to it non profit customers. Intuit has betrayed its Quickbooks Desktop Premier customers. The online product is inferior and the conversion to it like pushing a rock up hill. Updating to the newer versions of Premier Desktop was always seamless. This was acceptable as the product was mature and functioned well. The desktop versions required purchasing updated versions every three years plus annual and monthly fees for the payroll. Intuit staff have been patient and have tried to be helpful but they are dealing with an inferior product and the conversion of data, particularly payroll, is faulty. The cost to our non profit to make this conversion is over $3,500 and the result is not up to the quality of the Desktop Premier. Our accountant has billed 45 hours over a 2 week period to get the program to almost work properly. The conversion to the Online Advanced has been an expensive nightmare. We have used Quickbooks Desktop Premier for 8 years with the add on payroll.

I could go on and on and on about the time and money I have wasted, but instead I shut down my quickbooks today and I will now go find a different software program to use for my small business. I was sold a card swiper that did not work with my computer after specifically explaining how I want to check my customers out. One night I called the number on the Intuit website for merchant support, waited an hour for a call back, to be told that was the wrong number, but they would be glad to transfer me ( sure I want to start over and wait another hour for a call back). I literally stayed after work every evening for 2 weeks to get everything set up. I am trying to set up my entire small business, and the only thing I get is vague answers. The reps have zero training, if you ask one question, you have to wait 10 minutes for a rep to look it up, and then to be told that they do not know. When you call, you can sit on hold for an hour or wait to get a call back. What a joke Quickbooks has become!! There is NO support. I just spent the last 6 weeks trying to switch to Quickbooks online and get Quickbooks merchant set up. I have used quickbooks desktop for the last 27 years.

The only companies that have these review ratings are bona-fide criminal organizations, period. This is a crime organization, and the reviews across the internet are proof of that. You can imagine what it's like trying to tread water for 14 days and counting, still having to pay bills, fuel, materials, etc, while this crime organization refuses to give you your hard earned money. No banking institution that I've ever used held my checks or online payments for more than 72 hours, regardless of the amount.

There have been 5 different verification processes that I have gone through, 13 separate phone conversations with people who are trained to stall, and numerous online conversations to try and come to a resolution. Intuit has had my payment for 14 days, as of today. I assume this is to increase profits by gaining interest on all these online monetary payments. If you use their "get paid" option for customers to pay for your services, they literally hold that money in quickbooks bank account for an undetermined amount of time. This is a highly organized criminal enterprise.
